Guess what?! It’s still not too late to get your Valentine’s Day gifts. There some new business card holders in the shop and ready to ship right away. (Well, as soon as this winter storm moves out of the way, that is.) All these little guys are pink and red and shiny and bright—just like your sweetheart.
Best of all, they will ship wrapped up and ready to deliver to your hubby, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, mom, dad, best friend or whomever your heart desires. Each one is complete with a quirky little Valentine message, “I can’t bear to be without you,” “I love you and I ain’t lion,” “You make my heart hop.”
Go check out the full Valentine’s collection over in my Etsy shop. All orders placed by Sunday evening will ship first thing Monday morning by USPS priority mail (2-3 days) so they’ll arrive for Thursday’s day of love!

Happy Valentine’s Day y’all! Yes, I know, for a few weeks I went on and on about this day of love. Well, here we are and I am so far behind with no catching up in sight. Things just got busy here with work and the big game and birthday and everything, you know. I had started a Valentine’s Day board over on Pinterest, and so if it were up to me, I would have completed some of those projects, like the above homemade scratch-off Valentines from Little Lovely.

I would have also made some of these too-cute cupcakes from Bakerella. But, we actually still have some cupcakes left over from the birthday celebration, so maybe I would have just added some new decorations…

Lastly, I would have made some of these oh-so-simple snow globes as seen on Dandee. There’s not any snow outside this February, but that’s nothing a little glitter couldn’t fix.
As for us, we’re just celebrating a simple Valentine’s Day, filled with love (and with Louise, of course!) What about you? Are you feeling the love?
The countdown continues. T-2 weeks ’till that fateful lovey dovey holiday we all know and
abhor love, Valentine’s Day. (Yes, I know I am milking this Valentine’s thing. I just love love you guys. Maybe it’s a newlywed thing?)
Because I can’t tear myself away from the Pinterest these days, I couldn’t help but give my ol’ pinner a break when I came across the cutest idea from one of my daily blogroll stops, You Are My Fave.

Inspired by Melanie’s (author & “featured dancer” of You Are My Fave) use of Frappuccino bottles, candy & labels, I started to put together some of my own Valentine’s candy gifts of the same sort.
I’m still working on the final product, but I put together some of my own labels I’m printing here at home.
I grabbed some decal paper out of my old project stash, so I’m planning on testing out the printing on that.
I kept the palette sweet and the frames simple.
Best of all, I’ve got all 8 (yes there are eight) on a PDF for you, if you want, of course.
Use them in cards, on your blog or in your own DIY Valentine’s projects. What are you makin’ for your someone sweet this year? Time’s a tickin’! Get your free PDF here.
The countdown is on. Valentine’s Day is three weeks from today. Now, before you go asking anyone to Be Yours, get your hearts in a row and all that jazz. Obviously there are tons of resources for great gifts, thoughtful cards and party favors if you’re going all out. One of my personal faves in The Paper Source. It’s right down the street from my place and of course, I can always order online if I can’t make it there during store hours.

Since they’ve got SO much great stuff, I decided to put together a little roundup of my top picks.
I can’t get enough of these cards. the Octopus is my #1 this year, but I wouldn’t mind if that Cutie Pie card showed up in my mailbox either. The party straws are great for anytime, but especially Valentine’s Day. The DIY treat bags remind me of candy bags from grade school. And those letterpress notes seem like a nice gesture to leave for your special someone any day of the year—you don’t need a special day to share the love!
More Valentines goodness to come. smooches!
