Here and There Gets Me Every Time

As you guys know, things have been busy around these parts lately. But, I just wanted to check in with a mid-week update to say hello and share some recent Instagram photos. If you follow me there, I’m sure your up-to-date with the latest. If not, clockwise from top: sparklers at my cousin’s wedding | just a bit of all the rainy weather we’ve been having in Boston this summer | Louise has made a frenemy at the new house | I’ve never had a skylight before, have you? | and a look at Louise finding a place to perch.

The Time Being Gets Me Every Time

realizing may showers will bring june flowers?

organizing our home.

celebrating two blissful years of marriage.

wishing our cat 5 special years.

dreaming of spray painting all the things.

yearning for outdoor space.

prepping for a busy, busy June.

balancing work with life.

capturing the special moments.

loving a beautiful mess app.

enjoying live dance. (a birthday gift from the mister)

living for friends. (and loving time spent with them)

seeing things differently. (more on this tomorrow)

documenting daily life.

May is always a fabulous month here. Hope yours has been spectacular too, friends.

Influenster Gets Me Every Time

If you follow me on Instagram (@copykelly ) then you might have seen this photo over the summer. I signed up for Influenster and almost immediately got my first “VoxBox,” which is a cute package full of samples of new products. This was a “beauty box” but there are mom boxes, health boxes and more.

Recently, Influenster relaunched their site with a redesigned, reimagined method of rewarding all that online social time we all seem to racking up. You can earn badges for your expertise in an area, such as beauty, or just for being in a certain life stage, such as college student.

In their own words…

The Influenster Makeover brings all new changes to this trendsetting community. Reviews, Influenster Scores, Public Profiles, LifeStage & Expert Badges, and Invite-Only Membership to name just a few changes.

The new site is clean, minimalist and easy to use. It does take a while to complete all the surveys to earn your badges, but I have a feeling it’s going to pay off big time with a fantastic VoxBox or two. There are also brand challenges to unlock which can give you a higher score which unlocks more perks. But again, it all takes time.  In the end, I think you probably get out how much you put into Influenster.

Are you a member of Influenster? If you like to try products as they’re released, you can sign up today at Influenster.

** I was not paid or perked (yet) to write this particular post about Influenster. All opinions are my own. **

A Shutterfly Insta-Book Gets Me Every Time

You guys know I’ve got a thing for Instagram. Well, I’ve. Mentioned it before anyhow. The other thing I have a thing for is printing photos instead of keeping them locked up on my phone, my computer or a myriad of social networking sites. So, here it is, my Shutterfly “instabook.”

I took some inspiration here from this blog post and took the liberty of scribbling all over the pages. At least most of the pages. Here, take a look…

It was very easy to connect my Shutterfly account to my Instagram account and upload all my photos into the book. Plus, Shutterfly is always running a sale. For instance, I just popped over there and right now, you can save 20% on photo books with the code BOOK20.

ps, I wasn’t paid for thing post or anything. I did however receive this photo book free because I have “klout.” You can sign up for Klout and get free perks too.

Tumblr Gets Me Every Time

Hey, what happened to Monday? While I’m off to find it, I thought I’d alert you to some other content I’m filling the interwebs with over on my fave micro blogging platform, Tumblr.

At my place of employment I’m the lone girl on the totem pole on my small team of seven. That’s right. One v Six. I can handle them though, without a doubt. But, it probably goes without saying that they sometimes speak their own language. So, we’ve dubbed those moments, The Broments of Truth, which is the title of that fun little blog.

The second little place on the web that I’m sharing is Purrspectives, which is Louise’s blog. I know I’ve told you about her and her blog before, so make sure to go see what she’s up to from time to time to stay up to date.

My last little slice of tumblr is my personal photo blog. There I share my Instagram photos to give my friends and family a small glimpse into my everyday. If you’re on Instagram, follow me there, I’m @copykelly. (Mom, Instagram is this free photo sharing app. You can download it for your phone too. Then post pictures of the cat. I do. xo)

Are you on tumblr? If so, give me a follow at any one of the three above locations. It’s a fun, non-committal way to share some love for all that I love. Can’t wait to hear from you over there and follow you right back.

Springtime Gets Me Every Time

I’ve seen a lot of GREAT blogs, much better than my own, do their week in instagram photos and I wanted to join in all the fun and do a weekly recap of my own.

From top right: a | Painting projects on #crafturday. b | Supplies from #crafturday. c | grabbed some buds from the street corner. d | A commercial I wrote on the TV. e | The circus is in town! f | Our new, old camera found a home on our shelf. e  | Two sweet bunnies, an early Easter treat from my mom!

Are you on Instagram? If so, you can follow me @copykelly. If not, follow along on Statigram or see all my photos on Tumblr!

Happy Weekend!

I love art supplies. In fact I’ve got a closet full of ’em stashed at my mom’s house.

So, I went on a little keyword search to conjure up some of those warm fuzzies I remember from endless hours of coloring, and painting, and creating and so on and such.

I love Instagram… and Statigram is a great web-based feed to follow Instagram users.
