• A Classic Taco Gets Me Every Time

    by  • May 31, 2012 • Taco Town

Let the tacos begin! Our first taco is the one I grew up on it, hence why I’m calling it “classic”. This is the “recipe” my mom made for my brother and I when we were kids. We I was a picky one, so if we found something I liked, it became an instant staple.

Filling: Ground Turkey styled by Old El Paso.
    Shell: Hard Corn Shells
Toppings: Shredded lettuce, Colby jack cheese, tomatoes
    Sides: Refried Beans
    Salsa: Semi-homemade Salsa

Modifications: If you follow the back of the taco seasoning packet, you’re only supposed to add water when you add the seasoning. We choose to add about half a cup of salsa too, to give it an extra kick (plus, more veggies, always a good thing.)
