Wen Gets Me Every Time

| photo & product |

That’s no typo. “Wen” is one of the newest hair care products on the market, created by Chaz Dean, pictured above. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a non-shampoo type of product. By definition, it’s a “cleansing conditioner,” and I’ve been using it for about the past two weeks.

So far, so good. My hair, for those of you who don’t know, is long and straight. From the reviews I read online, that’s what type of hair it supposedly works best for. My hair dries better, doesn’t seem to get the dreaded “ponytail bump” and is super soft when using this product.

However, I will tell you this, if you don’t follow the instructions on the bottle, it doesn’t work as well. I used hot water once and it just didn’t feel the same as when I used “cool” water, in accordance with the package instructions.

Want to give it a try? If you visit wenhaircare.com, there’s a money-back guarantee. I ordered from QVC though, so I didn’t have to try out the whole system. They have a ton of different price points and scents to choose from too.

(PS. this post was inspired by my good friend Brigette over at Settling West. Check out all her “I’m Using” posts here. Thanks B!)
